some hollablading news from Matt E-mail

Firstly, it’s great that everyone can be motivated to get out to Capalaba every Wednesday night, and as each week goes by, there getting bigger and bigger letting us own the place for a night.  It’s rad to see so many youngsters making it out and skating hard out for a few hours, especially the ferny boys and the local Cleveland click.  Spread the word and more than likely next month, we’ll be getting a BBQ going over the road at Biz, so everyone can have a chance to chill, spill and fill your stomach.  Queensland titles are still on the cards, and we’ll keep everyone posted as soon as some issues are cleared up with councils and dates.  Keep your ears peeled for something big which will drop mid year.  Did somebody say tour, what tour??.

Also in the shop we have just got the new ‘Truth’ dvd, which is the Kelsos and Austin Paz’s flick, read Benny Granero’s review.  The old school bad boy the K2 fatty is back, and is cheap as cornflour.  The USD realms have also now been released in black, and come with kizer frames as opposed to the last season generic USD frames.  Also a heap of newish Vibralux, GC, Vicious and 4x4 shirts are still floating around.  We also have the new jug V-cut liners and plenty of V-cut cuffs, so you can keep your REMZ fresh or mash a bit of freedom of feet with your razors.  The new Be-mag is on its way, as well as CLIP 4 and also Rolla Mag is about due to drop, which should have some sick pics in it.  Wink, Wink.  New formula 1 frames are here and you can also customise the frame with red, black or white inserts.  Remz have dropped the OS (open shell) skate and finally people can get a REMZ skate for a much cheaper price, this skate also rocks the V-cut cuff jug liner and cuff.  There’s a lot of talk about the new 08 TWO but, no dates have been dropped yet so don’t fall off your chair yet.  Shima and Elliot have finally founded there long awaited skate company and the NIMH skate has hit our shores a few weeks back.  They are possibly one of the lightest skates I have ever put on, and are a virtually indestructible skate that slides on absolutely anything, they all come with cheddar new 4x4 wheels as well.

So yep, keep the Wednesday night hollablading alive and call in and say allo allo.

Peace…. Matt
