411VM Volume 14/ Issue 4

By; Rob Madden

The new 411 is probably one of the best put together for a while. Plenty of heads feature and they all put their best foot forward (goofy, regular, whatever, no pun intended).

Team wise it features DVS and Planet Earth skating different parts of the globe. Plenty of amazing skating goes down in these two sections with names like Reed, Broussard, Sabback, Newport, Song, Pudwill, Bassett all killing.

The individual parts couldn’t get any better with up and comers Danny Cerezini and Robert Lopez Mont laying it down in different fashions but with equal effectiveness. Robert Lopes Mont is crazy, attacking spots and killing them at will, while Cerezini operates smoothly to take out terrain.

Chico Brenes and Andre Genovesi feature as the pros and display why there finally gaining some high notoriety they have deserved for years.

To be honest, and this is a little embarrassing in light of Andre Genovesi’s skill, I kind of didn’t see much or take much notice of the dude until 411VM 64, the Brazilian issue. I can probably claim lack of coverage being the main reason why I didn’t see much of the dude, but after 64, he became one of my favourite skateboarders. In his part in this, the most recent 411 I think he silences all doubters with his amazing skill and substantiates his recent pick up or consolidation of big name sponsors Hurley, DVS and Hosoi Skateboards, his part is amazing.

While he does this Chico Brenes backs up his hella stylish part from DVS’ Skate More with another awesome part, and gets props from Daewon, Mike Carroll and Tim Gavin in the process.

There’s a lot of bonus features on this issue as well to keep the bonus ball rolling and to give you a toy with your Happy Meal, so enjoy and don’t get to fat on all the good stuff in this vid, once again it is only $34.99 from biz.
