steeringframe

Thanks to the revolutionary steering frame, the new Steering line provides in-liners with a choice of esciting new superior performance models. Greater effectiveness of skating action, more manoeuvrable, and with tighter cornering abilities. And all these features are also avaiable with larger diameter wheels.

The classic skating action has always been considered to be unchangeable characteristic of the sport. This is because skate frames had always been designed as a fixed rigid unit in the past. But the work of our R&D department and the results obtained from tests performed by Fila experts have led to the creatin of a completely new style of skate frames that are set to overturn many of the conventional precepts of in-line skating.
The new steerable frame brings a major improvement to the classic skating action.

The power stroke becomes longer and more efficent.

This result is a reduction in energy expenditure because the same distance can be covered with fewer strokes.

In addition, the new skates can be equipped with large diameter wheels (up to 90mm) thereby reaching higher speeds without sacrificing the exceptional manueuvrability provided by the streerable frame.

Obstacles can be avoided effortlessly and tight bends can be negotiated with ease.
