Joel McIlroy took out the 2007 Brissy leg of the ES “Game Of S.K.A.T.E” and will be heading to Melbourne to take on the nations best!!!! Tommy Fynn and Dawesy took it to him in the final with Dawesy bowing out and Tommy and Joel battling on. Tommy and Joel were both on “T” but eventually Joely prevailed. Crew traveled from Mackay, the Sunny Coast and Goldy to have a shot at the trip to Melbs. We had a rad day with little guys taking on sponsored guys and everyone getting on, meeting for the first time and catching up with old homies. You can see the results, but honourable mentions go too J.R and Zac, two of the littlest soldiers in Brissy takin’ on senior crew and Davo DeKlerk, even though he bowed out in the first round he was risking it all and trying dope tricks not just safe options. Jimmy deserves a holla for traveling in and going far, Timmy Regard gets some props for keeping the spirit high with constant commentary even when he was playing, PIP battled with a jacked ankle and Nathan was coming back after injury so heart points there and Tommy gets love, despite his high profile he showed the mad sportsmanship all day and also did not repeat tricks ALL DAY. Cheers to everyone who got in on running the thing, everyone who came out to play and/or watch, JJ for filming the thing and getting it on the net for crew to see. Peace.
