Construction had begun on the Redlands skate plaza! And we might see a completion date around christmas. It will be the largest skate space in South East Queensland and third largest in Australia. The plaza replaces the old park and contains a massive 100m long street run that connects into a Feature bowl area containing a 6 to 8 foot bowl with pool coping, hips and vert wall extension. There are also a larger connecting plaza with a 12 stair, 8 stair, big 4, access ramp gap, garden gaps, flat and split level flat bars, manual pads as well a multitude of timber, steel, paved and concrete ledges. The whole space will be lit at night and includes an elevated skateable stage for a variety of different events, treed viewing and seating spaces throughout. ![]() ![]() A big thanks to Convic for these pics and information For more info on parks around Australia go to www.convic.com |
